New League Manager
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our new league manager in Lethbridge, Dean McLaren. Dean has been a member of our league for the last two years as a father and one of our Youth team coaches. He has been a great supporter of our league in the past and is looking forward to helping us grow our programs and bring stability to the league manager position.
Lower Team Registration Requirements
Last season, the team registration minimum player requirements were set at 15 full-time players per team. In our efforts to help grow our league and make it easier for teams to qualify, we have reduced this limit to 14 players per team. This will reduce the overall cost for teams who use the Team GM registration option, and make it easier for the Team Captain registrations to fill their roster requirements.
Spare Registration Fee increased to $10
For players who are signing up as a spare player under the Unrestricted Free Agent (UFA) registration, the fee has been increased to $10 from the previous $5 amount. This is due to an imposed $5 per player insurance fee charged to every player on a roster mandated by the CBHA.
